General Motors announced the ultra-premium Avenir series in fall 2016 with ties to and inspired by the GMC Denali series. Now, the 2018 Buick Enclave Avenir gives drivers and enthusiasts alike the first look at the new series. The Enclave Avenir trim will top the lineup of the redesigned, fuel-efficient family SUV.
The Buick Enclave marks the seventh new model introduced in less than two years. In total, Buick plans to launch a dozen new or updated vehicles by 2020. Considering 90 percent of Enclave buyers choose one of the two top trims, introducing the Avenir trim in the Enclave lineup makes the most sense.
The ultra-premium model features standard Avenir floor mats, sill plates with Avenir scripts, and 20-inch wheels with a pearl-nickel finish. Drivers will also enjoy standard wireless charging, navigation, dual moonroof, cabin ionizer, heated second-row seats, and a wood-accented steering wheel.
The Buick Enclave Avenir, like the standard Enclave, seats up to eight passengers. Under the hood lies a 3.6-liter V6 engine with stop-start fuel-saving technology that delivers an estimated 302 horsepower.
Available features include intelligent all-wheel drive and the brand’s first switchable all-wheel drive systems. The addition of the Avenir trim better sets the Enclave to compete with models like the Acura MDX and Audi Q7.
We here at Union Park Buick GMC are excited to see the 2018 Enclave Avenir in person!
