The GMC Denali models are designed to offer a higher level of luxury and refinement than the vast majority of vehicles on the road. These high-end models have resulted in GMC taking home its fourth consecutive Most Refined Brand Award from Kelley Blue Book. Now, the 2018 GMC Yukon Denali is bringing even more updates designed to further refine the SUV.
The most noticeable change in the 2018 Yukon Denali comes in the grille. The old, flat, square-holed grille is out and new alternating thick-and-thin edges are in. The new style is similar in appearance to the Terrain and Acadia’s front end. The Yukon Denali also features automatic shutters to help reduce drag and increase performance and efficiency.

Speaking of efficiency, the 2018 GMC Yukon Denali will be the third model under the General Motors umbrella to offer the new 10-speed automatic transmission. The new transmission will be mated to a 6.2-liter V8 engine that delivers an incredible 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy numbers aren’t in just yet, but GM believes that the new transmission will be more efficient than the outgoing eight-speed transmission.
The final change comes with the addition of “Mastique Ash real wood” in the cabin. Otherwise, the Yukon Denali remains a luxury SUV complete with three rows of leather seats and an impressive towing capability.
We here at Union Park Buick GMC are pumped for the new GMC Yukon Denali!
