Halloween is approaching, and there are plenty of fun events popping up throughout the state of Delaware. Here at Union Park Buick GMC, we have put together a few of our favorites. Make sure you mark your calendars for these great Halloween events in Delaware!
It wouldn’t be the fall season without a hayride. Every Saturday in October, you can head to Hagley Museum and Library to experience the colorful leaves of autumn as you travel to the old DuPont Co. gunpowder mills.
Stay in Wilmington for this trip on the old railroad tracks, where you take a steam engine through Red Clay Creek Valley to view the foliage and interact with a few friendly witches along the way. There will be three different train rides on Oct. 26.
Head to the Marshall Steam Museum on Oct. 26 to see cool sights like miniature steam trains, antique automobiles, and even eat popcorn from a steam-powered popper. Mansion tours are available, too – come in costume!
Fantasy Trail at Cape Henlopen State Park
Though this one’s a bit of a drive, it’s sure to be fun for kids who love fairytales with a distinct storybook theme. Come for trick-or-treating, singing, magic tricks, and more from Oct. 24-26.
Sea Witch Halloween & Fiddler’s Festival
This massive festival takes place right on Dewey Beach and has a seemingly unlimited list of activities for the whole family. The festival takes place from Oct. 24-26.
At Union Park Buick GMC, we are proud to serve our home state of Delaware, and we hope to see you at some of these spooky Halloween events!
