Pumpkin carving and trick-or-treating are great, but why not get creative and start some new fall traditions this year? There are plenty of ways to bring your family together on the weekends for some autumnal fun. Here are three of our favorite fall traditions at Union Park Buick GMC.
October is National Cookie Month, so between that and all of the pumpkin- and apple-themed desserts out there, you’ll have no trouble finding some inspiration in the kitchen. Baking is fun and memorable when your kids help out, so get to mixing and whip up something warm and yummy together.
Fall is a great time for camping. The nights are cool and perfect for cooking over a fire. Plus, the gorgeous change in foliage makes for an incredible outdoor setting. Plan some fire-side meals and brush up on a few ghost stories for a fun and spooky night in the woods.
When it starts to get especially chilly outside, it’s nice to find a fun way to spend an afternoon indoors. There are hundreds and hundreds of fun crafts that you and your kids can find online. Add a warm mug of hot cider and some of the cookies you made together, and your kids won’t miss summer pool days at all.
From all of us at Union Park Buick GMC, we hope you have a fun, tradition-filled autumn season.
